Gas Mileage Logger

Back in the olden days, I used to keep track of the gas mileage of my 1996 Buick Regal by jotting down the odometer reading on the receipt from the gas pump and entering the values into a spreadsheet. It was useful to see the seasonal variation in gas prices, gas mileage, and my driving habits.

The Gas Mileage Logger app lets you do that all automatically on your phone. Enter your odometer reading and fill-up amount each time you get gas and see the true tank-by-tank gas mileage of your vehicle, not the over-averaged value your car shows on the dashboard.

This app also lets you import the EPA fuel economy ratings for your vehicle to compare your actual mileage against.

Features

  • Track unlimited vehicles
  • Import and export data to CSV files to Google Drive, Dropbox, or any other location on your phone or tablet
  • Links to EPA ratings for vehicles from 1984 onward to let you compare your actual mileage with your vehicle's rating
  • Compatible with US and international units (US Gallons, UK Gallons, Liters, Miles, km)
